Ahead of their reunion to be held over the 17th, 18th and 19th of May 2024, the Griffith Waratah RLFC are having a meeting at the Exies Sporties Club on June 27.

The meeting is to discuss the upcoming reunion and the activities which the weekend will consist of.

Club President Robert Nascimben said the following in a press release:

“We are having a meeting on June 27 at 5:30pm at the Exies Sporties Club, and topics to discuss are events that we should look at having on reunion weekend.

“For example, a meet and greet at the Sporties on the Friday night, Golf on Saturday for who wants to play, bus tour of wineries, team of the century, football on Sunday.

“If you live away and have a suggestion, please contact me to let me know as the more people involved in this event the better for all of us.”

Nascimben also added the following:

“If you have contact details of past players or coaches that may be unaware of the reunion, again pass me on my details and I will get in touch with them”

“And if you are looking at booking accommodation, we have the Exies Bagtown Motel owned by our major sponsor Griffith Exies Club and that is where we having the reunion dinner.”
