A week after one of the biggest changes to the structure of rugby league on the North Coast, Group 3 has seen a change to its line-up ahead of the 2025 season.

Hastings League side Lake Cathie-Bonny Hills have announced they will enter Under 18s and Women’s League Tag sides into the Group competition in 2025, in a move to further strengthen the club’s pathways from juniors to their senior side.

After fielding a side in the Group 3 Under 18s in 2024, in which the team made the Grand Final before ultimately going down to Wingham 22-6, the Raiders have decided to increase their presence in the first division competition this year.

Meanwhile, the club will also continue fielding their Senior Men’s team in the Hastings League.

A new divisional format for the Hastings League was announced after the inclusion of former Group 2 sides Bellingen and Orara Valley was confirmed last week.

The Raiders will compete in the Southern Division alongside Beechwood, Comboyne, Kendall, Laurieton and Long Flat.
