Before this weekend’s top grade action starts, let’s take a look back at last weekend’s statewide First Grade scoreboard!
Last weekend’s Group 7 action saw Shellharbour Sharks 32 defeat Albion Park-Oak Flats 24 in a rematch of last season’s preliminary final.
Centre Jayme McElhone led six tryscorers for the Sharks, who withstood the many charges of the Eagles for a hard-fought win.
Defending premiers Gerringong got their season back on track with a 16-12 win over Milton-Ulladulla.
After a last start 26-0 loss to Jamberoo, the Lions bounced back with a narrow three tries to two home victory at Michael Cronin Oval.
Finally, the Stingrays of Shellharbour continued their strong start to the season with a 42-12 victory over Nowra-Bomaderry, while the Berry-Shoalhaven Heads v Kiama game was postponed.
