The siren has sounded on another weekend of action across the state, and winners have taken their points from a great weekend of footy.

The Goulburn City Bulldogs won their second game of the Canberra Raiders Cup season after a 30-18 win over the Gungahlin Bulls at the Gungahlin Enclosed Oval.

The after a win over the Yass Magpies in round one, the Bulldogs lost two games to Queanbeyan Blues and Belconnen United, before emerging from their first bye of the year to take the points on the road against the Bulls.

Narooma picked up their first win of the season in Group 16 with a 22-16 defeat of Bega in a one-off game back at Cobargo.

After a first start loss to Merimbula-Pambula and a draw with Bombala last weekend, the win is Narooma’s first back in the competition this season after sitting out last year, and their first since Clint Wright nailed a field goal for a thrilling 39-38 golden point victory against Snowy River in the 2023 Minor Semi Final.
