With another spectacular weekend of bush footy in the books, we take a look at all the results from across the state.
Group 20
The Griffith Black and Whites bounced back from their shock last start loss to the TLU Sharks to secure a 28-20 win over the Hay Magpies at Solar Mad Stadium in round five of Group 20 action on Sunday.
Led by a new halves pairing of Gospel Toru and Jasvir Singh-Clark, the Black and Whites piled on six tries in their most complete performance of the season so far after a few up and down weeks.
Meanwhile, the Yenda Blueheelers joined the winners list with a 44-22 home victory over the Tullibigeal-Lakes United Sharks at Wade Park.
Isaiah Potts and Charlie Tiaina each nabbed doubles among seven different try scorers as the Blueheelers recorded their biggest victory of the season so far in front of their home supporters.
Meanwhile, in other games, DPC Roosters beat Leeton 31-12 at the Leeton No.1 Oval, and Yanco-Wamoon cruised to a 56-6 victory over West Wyalong at Ron Crowe Oval.
Group 9

The Cootamundra Bulldogs secured a major milestone in their rebuild after winning their first Great Northern Group 9 First Grade game in six years with a 34-12 victory over the Wagga Brothers at Geohex Park on Saturday.
Centre Sam Gash starred for the Bulldogs, with two tries and five goals for a personal haul of 18 points, while front rower Nikola Sovatabua dominated through the middle and finished with a try as reward for his effort.
Coach David Buttriss described the win as “an unbelievable feeling.”
“It’s a great reward for everyone involved in the club,” he told Battlers.
Meanwhile, the Temora Dragons defended the Challenge Cup for another week, despite falling to the Wagga Kangaroos 22-16 at Nixon Park on Saturday.
Roos skipper Nathan Rose suffered an injury scare before rebounding to score the match-winning try in the victory.
The Gundagai Tigers emerged from their Greenfield Park showdown with the Albury Thunder with a 24-16 victory on Sunday afternoon.
The win marked coach Aaron Gorrell’s second success of the weekend after he guided the Country Firsts squad to a 26-14 win over City at Jubilee Oval, Kogarah on Saturday.
In other results, the Young Cherrypickers bounced back from their last start loss to the Gundagai Tigers with a 40-20 win over the South City Bulls at Alfred Oval, while the Tumut Blues joined the winners’ circle with a 32-12 win over the Junee Diesels at Twickenham.
Group 7
The Kiama Knights are the latest side to lower the colours of two-time defending premiers Gerringong in season 2025, recording a 16-8 victory in the local derby at Kiama Showground on Sunday.
The Knights scored three tries to Gerringong’s one in the win, with Matt Morris, Kieran Poole and Callum Roberts each crossing the stripe in the defensive affair.
The topsy-turvy nature of the competition was again on show at Kevin Walsh Oval on Saturday when Jamberoo knocked off first-placed Stingrays of Shellharbour 16-14.
Three tries to the Superoos, including one to coach Johno Dallas, saw the home side take a narrow victory and cause further congestion at the top of a highly competitive table.
Other results, last start winners Albion Park-Oak Flats continued their recent run of form, adding a 20-10 away victory over Nowra-Bomaderry to their victory over Gerringong last weekend, while the Shellharbour Sharks cruised to a 16-0 home win over Milton-Ulladulla, with Jonathan Sila and Malokai Tomo again amongst the tryscorers.
Meanwhile, there is just one round left before the competition’s Magic Round, set down for May 31 at Artie Smith Oval in Bomaderry.

Group 16
The Narooma Devils made it two wins on the trot in Group 16 First Grade with a narrow 16-12 win over one of the premiership favourites in the Cooma Stallions at Bill Smyth Oval on Sunday.
Out of recess and back on the paddock in 2025, the Devils, led by Coach Kieran Wyld, have recovered from a first round 30-16 loss to Merimbula-Pambula to sit inside the top five after four rounds.
Meanwhile, Tathra ran riot over Batemans Bay with a 62-4 victory at Tathra Country Club, while last year’s grand finalists Eden held off Bombala for a 26-16 win.
The big win sees undefeated Tathra sitting on top of the table after four rounds on eight points, with Merimbula-Pambula and Eden a game behind.

Illawarra Division
Collegians maintained their unbeaten start to the 2025 season with a dominant 46-14 win over the Dapto Canaries at the Dapto Showground.
Josh Dowel and James Lee each crossed for doubles for the Collie Dogs, while Young Cherrypickers product Nic Hall also nabbed a four pointer at fullback in the eight tries to three win.
The win sees Collies sitting atop the table undefeated after four rounds on eight competition points, a game clear of defending premiers Wests Devils, who they defeated 26-24 in round one.
In other results, Thirroul defended their home turf at Thomas Gibson Park with an 18-12 win over northern suburbs rivals Corrimal, while Wests maintained second place with a 12-0 win over De La Salle Caringbah in a curtain-raiser to the Sharks-Storm game at Shark Park.

Group 4
The Gunnedah Bulldogs have continued their resurgence in 2025 with a 54-16 win over the Dungowan Cowboys at the Dungowan Recreation Ground.
The Bulldogs sit in equal first with North Tamworth and Werris Creek on seven points, with all three sides undefeated after a pair of draws last weekend in the competition’s Magic Round.
Fellow first-placed outfit Werris Creek took the chocolates in their heavyweight clash with Boggabri courtesy of a 36-10 win along with North Tamworth, who put a 60-0 mercy rule scoreline on Wee Waa, only to be outdone by Moree Boars who beat Kootingal 62-0.
