Two rugby league competitions resume on Saturday following their respective breaks over the long weekend.

Mid West Community Cup round 3 games are set down for Bathurst and Wallerawang, with unbeaten Blackheath to meet Kandos at Wallerawang Sportsground in the 1 pm match followed by the Wallerawang and Portland game at 2.25.

In the western division, matches at CSU’s Diggings field Rockley and the only other undefeated club Carcoar is the first-up game, before CSU meet Woodstock at 2.15.

At both grounds the leaguetag games precede the men’s matches, with the women set to kick-off at 11am.

Western Women’s Rugby League

In a showdown between the only two undefeated WWRL sides on Saturday Bathurst’s Panorama Platypi, having scored a massive 162 points in their first two games have to prove themselves against an also-rampaging Mudgee.

The Mudgee side also have scored an average of 60 points a game, and the match-up with the reigning premiers at Mudgee should leave a single leader and could give a pointer to this year’s premier club.
