Unbeaten sides Blayney, Trundle and Cargo retain equal share of the leadership in the Woodbridge Cup competition after wins in round three.

Blayney had just a two-point win over Cowra, but Cargo and Trundle had easy wins, and the three clubs’ wins kept last year’s grand finalists Oberon and Manildra in equal fourth place on the ladder.

Oberon had a 62-6 win over Grenfell, while Peak Hill showed their premiership aspirations pushing Manildra to a 26-24 win over the Roosters.

Orange United’s 64-16 win over Molong positions the Orange club next on the table on 4 points, ahead of Peak Hill and Cowra on 2 points.

The four other clubs sit on the bottom with no wins.

In the next round of matches, the games with most interest are Blayney hosting Manildra, and Cargo at home to Cowra, where, in both games the competition leaders meet powerful clubs intent on taking the top spot.
