Round 9 games in the Woodbridge Cup resulted in fairly predictable outcomes, led by big wins to last season’s grand finalists Oberon and Manildra.
The Tigers and Rhinos both reached 50 points in their matches, respectively beating Molong 50-6 and Eugowra 50-16.
Trundle retained their third place with an 18-6 win over Blayney, and the closest contest was the 33-32 win by Orange United over Peak Hill.
In other matches Cowra defeated Canowindra 34-20, and free-running Cargo were 64-6 winners over Grenfell.
The top teams retain their positions on the ladder, Oberon and Manildra on 15 points, one point ahead of Trundle, and with their win Cowra moves into sixth spot one point behind fifth-placed Cargo.
From the next round there are two games of interest, Trundle at home to Cargo possibly affecting positions in the top five, and further down the ladder Orange United hosting Blayney.
Oberon travels to Eugowra, and Manildra to Canowindra, neither of the top two teams expected to be beaten.
